This video course covers advanced malware analysis topics. To achieve this goal, it is important to first understand the behavior and characteristics of different types of malware. This knowledge allows us to quickly categorize malware according to its characteristics. We can see how sophisticated malware can use techniques that either evade detection, or increase the damage and access to the systems.

Next, we will learn advanced techniques for static and dynamic malware analysis. We also cover the powerful features of OllyDbg and IDA Pro. We also examine defense mechanisms against malware and create a signature to detect it. Finally, we set up an intrusion detection (IDS), which will prevent attacks.
