Course Description

CINEMA 4D and Maya are powerful 3D content creation tools that can be used in a variety of ways. Each has its own strengths. Artists who have worked in Maya, for example, may find that they need to be able work in other programs. They know what they need and how to complete their projects. But they must also be familiar with the capabilities of the new program and where they can find the functions and tools they are looking for. Instead of going through an extensive introduction project that contains a lot more information than it needs, we will focus on the essential information that you need to get started in CINEMA4D. We will discuss how CINEMA 4D handles geometry and its unique hierarchy-based workflow. We will cover the polygon modeling tools, workflows, such as Beveling, Extruding and working with deformers. We will also discuss the use of splines to generate geometry. We will also cover UVs, animations, lighting, rendering, and a few other things that are unique to CINEMA4D, such as multi-resolution sculpture and the MoGraph tools. You will be able take your Maya skills and continue working in CINEMA4D by the end of this training. If you have any questions or need to learn more about any tool or function, we offer several CINEMA4D courses. CINEMA 4D R15 software required.
