Course Description

Python is a complex language. It's essential to be able to understand the key concepts and to create high-quality Python programs. We have found that starting in the right direction is key to success with Python. This includes avoiding common misconceptions and early mistakes. Core Python 3.6: Get Started will introduce you to the basics of Python and the important parts of Python's standard library. We will be covering the following topics: Python's basic data types, using modules and functions to organize your code; Python's underlying object modeling, creating your own types using classes and working with iteration. You will be able to handle almost any Python project by the end of this course and will also have the knowledge and skills to continue learning advanced aspects.
