Course Description

This course in machine learning focuses on reinforcement learning, and how artificial intelligence is used to solve complex problems that involve multiple decisions.

Reinforcement learning recognizes the multifaceted nature of the problems that machine learning is used to solve. These challenges can be seen as a series, with each solved challenge creating or limiting the possibilities for solving the next. This allows us to explore all possible paths through a series of decisions. Artificial intelligence can then determine the most efficient or effective solution to complex problems.

For deep learning neural networks, reinforcement learning can be applied. This will allow us to create more precise algorithms.

This course will introduce you to reinforcement learning with Python in Microsoft Azure. This course will teach you how to frame relational learning issues. An introduction to common relational learning algorithms will be provided, including dynamic programming algorithms as well as temporal difference learning. Project Malmo is a Minecraft-based platform for AI experimentation.

This course will help you to understand reinforcement learning techniques and the appropriate formal notation. These will then be applied in Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services using Python programming.
