What is the policy for refunds?

Subscribers get a free 7-day trial, which you can cancel at any time without penalty. We don't offer refunds after that. However, you can cancel your subscription at anytime. Please refer to our complete refund policy.

Can I only enroll in one course?

Yes! Click the course card you are interested in to enroll. To earn a shareable certificate you can either enroll and finish the course or audit it to see the course materials free of charge. You automatically get the entire Specialization when you sign up for a course in a part of it. To track your progress, visit your learner dashboard.

Are there any financial aid options?

Yes. If you are unable to afford the enrollment fee, you may be eligible for financial aid and/or a scholarship in certain learning programs. You will find a link to submit your application on the description page if fin aid or scholarship are available for your chosen learning program.

Is it possible to take the course free of charge?

You get full access to the Specialization courses and a certificate after you have completed the work. You can also view and read the course content for free if you don't want to pay the fee. You can apply for financial assistance if you are unable to afford the course fee.

Is the course 100% online? Are there any classes I must attend in person?

The course can be accessed online so you don't need to attend a class in person. Access your lectures, readings, and assignments from anywhere on the internet or via your mobile device.

What is the average time it takes to complete the Specialization program?

Accepted Answer

You will need to spend approximately 90 hours on the Specialization. Each course takes 25-30 hours. Each week of the Specialization consists of 6-8 hours'. This Specialization takes approximately 3/4 months to complete. This timing does not include optional readings or time for summative assignments. Digital Health is still a new field. This Specialization covers a broad range of literature, which is why each course is designed with this in mind.

What is the background knowledge required?

For any course in the Specialization, we do not require prior knowledge of Digital Health. As learners, we expect students to be able understand and apply concepts and methods to their understanding of each course. Digital Health is a multidisciplinary field that is constantly changing. This is why many of the readings in this Specialization reflect this. This Specialization requires that the learner can read extensively on a variety of topics in order to comprehend and contextualise the material.

Are the courses to be taken in a particular order?

It is highly recommended that you take the courses in a sequential order, as each course builds upon the previous knowledge.

Can I get university credit for finishing the Specialization?

Accepted Answer

Although this Specialization does not carry university credit, some universities may accept Specialization Certificates as credit. For more information, please contact your institution. You can earn university credit by completing an online degree or Mastertracka, C/ Certificate on Coursera.
