Course Description

Have you ever wondered how to write code for IoT microcontrollers that can communicate with AWS or other edge devices? This course, Integrating Connected IoT Microcontrollers With Amazon FreeRTOS, will teach you how to create applications that communicate with AWS and other edge devices using Amazon FreeRTOS. You'll first learn how to set up Amazon FreeRTOS for communication with AWS IoT. Next, you will learn how to create applications for FreeRTOS. This includes multitasking and inter-task messaging, synchronization, button pressing, and reading data from sensors. You'll also learn how to communicate with AWS IoT via MQTT. This includes creating device shadows and identities using Amazon FreeRTOS and performing over-the-air upgrades. This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to create cloud- and edge-connected IoT items once you are done.
