Course Description

AutoCAD Civil 3D is a unique tool that allows Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors to collaborate in one software environment. This makes it possible to develop land development projects. This course, "Introduction to Surveying: From Field to Finish in AutoCAD Civil 3D", will teach you how field measurement data are taken from surveyor's instruments, and converted into a dynamic Civil 3D model. You will first learn about databases and survey objects. Next, you'll explore the sections of Civil 3D that are specifically tailored to Survey workflows and dive into the Survey Settings. You will also learn how to use Description Keys, which allow you to change the appearance of points and layers by using their Raw Description codes. This AutoCAD course will give you a solid understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D and allow you to use this knowledge and experience in your surveying career. AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 required.
