Python Quick Start for Linux System Administrators

While system administrators are known for writing scripts to automate their work, they rarely have the time or resources to learn a language. They only need the right amount of information to do the job. This course will quickly introduce you to Python in the context of real-world system administration tasks. You'll learn about the different development environments as well as the core language features. You'll learn the core library modules that enable Python scripts to interact the Linux system. You'll also learn how to modify and process text files. You will be able to create simple, but not necessarily easy, sysadmin Python scripts and understand the "pythonic mindset" after you have completed this course.
