BITS Pilani, Birla Institute of Technology & Science or is an Indian Institute of Higher Education. The Institute is fulfilling the dream of its late founder Mr. G.D. Birla, a well-known business person. Currently, the Birla Institute of Science and Technology is one of the most famous institutions in India known for distributing quality education in the fields of Science and Technology. The primary purpose of BITS Pilani is to help the nation in the best possible way through their students. BITS are widely famous for technical education. The Institution majorly offers regular technical courses such as B.E., M.E., M. Sc., B. Pham, and Ph.D. and Management courses like M.B.A. In executive programs, BITS is serving 30+ different certification programs, and they have recorded 75,000 and more graduates. The executive programs can be available on technical as well as management studies. These all courses are approved by the UGC.
BITS consistently increasing Pilani's stature can be measured from its ranking. According to NIRF, BITS has ranked 39th in the overall ranking and 23rd in the university ranking. BITS Pilani ranked between 801 and 1000 in the 2018 rankings released by QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
The Institution can never be at the top without a good placement record. BITS is one of the favoring Institutions in this department. According to the reports, 36 top companies visited for the campus recruitment in management programs, and 100% placement had been recorded. The Highest CTC was offered is 15 LPA with an average of 9.17 LPA.
The National Examination and Accreditation Council (NAAC) had approved the Birla Institute of Science (BITS) Pilani for grade “A” in 2016. There are very few colleges that have achieved this recognition.
