The Indian Institute of Forest Management, located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh was established as a public, autonomous institute under the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India. IIFM Bhopal was founded in 1982 and offers two P.G.D. programmes, one M.Phil programme and a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) for admissions. The Indian Institute of Forest Management has ten faculty areas: communication and extension management, ecosystem and environment management, environment and developmental economics, financial management, human resource management, information technology and quantitative techniques, marketing management, sociology and community development, technical forestry and strategic management.
