IIM Ranchi was established in 2009 under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, and Government of Jharkhand. The campus of IIM Ranchi is spread over 60 acres. Recently, the award ‘Institutional of National Importance’ was given to IIM Ranchi. As per NIRF ranking 2021 and NIRF 2020, the institute ranked at 21st and 20th positions in the management category respectively. IIM Ranchi offers well-structured courses by experienced professors. The main focus of the courses is to make the students ready for the industry for the progressive world.
IIM Ranchi offers several courses including Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGP-HRM), Doctoral Programme (Ph.D), an Executive Doctoral Programme (ePh.D), an Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management. At IIM Ranchi the students are given exposure to various types of case studies and experiences and groomed as future leaders. IIM Ranchi aims to gain a spot in the top 10 management schools in the Asian region. The IIM Ranchi campus is very well-equipped with all the technologies and facilities necessary for the students. The institute is located at Suchana Bhawan Meur’s Road Audrey House Campus, Jharkhand. The connectivity to the railway station and airport is nearby and easy to reach for the students of IIM Ranchi. The distance of the Ranchi railway station from the IIM Ranchi campus is around 6 km and Birsa Munda Airport is 23 km. The distance from the Kantatoli Bus Stand is 4 km. Students take the bus or taxi to reach IIM Ranchi.
