Institute Overview

Shanghai Jiao Tong University was established in Shanghai, China in 1896 with the aim of producing talented professionals for the country. SJTU is now one of the top 100 universities in the world and a major university that is directly under the Ministry of Education (MOE), People's Republic of China. It was co-constructed by MOE, Shanghai Municipal Government. SJTU currently has five campuses covering more than 300 hectares.
