Sushant University Erstwhile Ansal University was established under the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006. It is located in Gurugram, India's largest cluster of Fortune 500 and National companies. There are eight schools that offer programmes in Architecture, Design Law, Management, Hospitality Engineering, Health Sciences, Planning & Development, and Law.

Sushant University was awarded the National Education Excellence Award. A"Best Private University in Northern India 2017, along with the CSR Excellence in Education Award for 2 consecutive years i.e. 2017 and 2018. The flagship school, Sushant School of Art and Architecture of Ansal University, was established in 1989. It has been consistently ranked No. Outlook Magazine ranked India's No. 1 private architecture school.
