Established in the year 1960, Kalyani University is a state public university approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The varsity is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. In NIRF University Ranking 2020, the University of Kalyani got 89th position. The Department of Computer Science Engineering, Department of Engineering & Technological Science and Department of Business Administration of the varsity are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
