An engineer in electromagnetics is involved in the design and verification of electromagnets for different fields, such as aviation and power plants. You'll be expected to design wiring diagrams for the projects that you work on. It is also necessary to show these diagrams to supervisors and colleagues for confirmation and guidance.

Whatever area of work you're in there are some specific and fast prerequisites. You should have at minimum an undergraduate education in engineering electrical, and a master's degree in electromagnetic engineering is typically required.
