The project engineers supervise the engineers for engineering projects within their companies and ensure that projects are completed according to time, on budget and in accordance with project specifications. They coordinate the efforts of employees and ensure that there is effective communication is maintained between the different departments or employees who are involved in the project and ensure that the allocation of resources is efficient, and adequate to finish the project. Project engineers utilize their skills as engineers throughout their job, and could be the client's technical contact point in addition. They typically work with other engineers in a office environment, and regular trips to site locations required as well.
