A training instructor is responsible for teaching clients about a specific skill in a certain industry. Training instructors exist in a variety of sectors such as technology, healthcare, business, education, and more. Most training instructors must have proficient content knowledge of the area in which they are training. Most training instructor positions require a bachelor’s degree in the field in which they are instructing. A degree in education with experience in the field may also suffice for some companies. Training instructors must have a high level of professionalism and excellent communication skills. Also, as with any type of teaching, a high level of patience is helpful. Finally, good interpersonal skills help make training instructors successful.
