The Customer Relations Management (CRM) Administrators are accountable for bridging the gap between their employer's CRM systems and their customers. CRM software is developed to assist businesses in managing customer information such as marketing, customer service processes, business processes, automated selling, management of employees, and many other applications based on the size of the company and needs for business.

CRM managers typically are able to draw on an extensive background in information technological (IT) background. They must communicate with customers from various departments and be aware of a variety of software (marketing services inventory, sales, etc.) They should be able to instruct users on how to properly enter relevant information into the system, and then verify and reconcile the information input. They can assist users with queries via email or phone and collaborate with CRM system suppliers, and work with department managers, tech writers and programmers, systems engineers and software engineers, and other personnel.
