We are looking for a skilled Data Warehouse Analyst for our staff. To be successful in this role, you should have a variety of abilities. Design and translation of databases is a skill that allows you to recognize and resolve any issues that occur in the database, composing reports and queries, and creating scripts for the database. Additionally the job will provide support for databases to staff members as well as conduct group trainings on how to utilize the database effectively and efficiently. Experience with SQL Programming and Business Objects is imperative for this job. A strong set of Microsoft Office skills are also required for this job. Analysts in the data warehouse are expected to be able to communicate both verbally and in written form in an professional way.

This job requires that you be able to sit for a long duration of time. The job will be inside and is not affected by any weather conditions. You will form part of a team comprising three employees, including an engineer and designer in your department. You will be directly reporting on the Department Director. The company employs around 100 employees, and you'll be working closely with many of them. A bachelor's qualification from Computer Science or a related field is required, however an advanced degree is preferred. Three to five years of relevant experience is required. The position is open Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. until 5 pm. We pay competitively and benefits package that includes dental, medical, as well as life insurance. As a Data Warehouse Analyst with 9+ years of experience in the United States, your main responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data models, schema structures, and ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.This involves creating data models and schemas that support the organization's data warehousing requirements, and implementing robust ETL processes for smooth data management.
  • Conducting data analysis and performance tuning to optimize data warehouse operations and ensure data accuracy and reliability.This involves analyzing large datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and fine-tuning the data warehouse infrastructure to improve performance and maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data warehousing projects.This includes working closely with stakeholders, such as business analysts and developers, to understand their needs and translate them into data warehouse requirements and specifications.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior analysts, and conducting trainings and workshops to enhance data warehousing knowledge within the organization.

  • Proficiency in SQL and database management to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into the data warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
