Flight Test Engineer

The flight test engineer is accountable for a variety of aspects related to the operation and maintenance of aircraft. They oversee all aspects of flight including space flight and rotary wing flight (helicopters) and fixed-wing flights. They also closely monitor pilots and collaborate with them to ensure a safe and comfortable flight for the passengers.

Flight test engineers usually work inside airplanes, typically for ten hours a day, or up to 18 hours.
