A facility coordinator is generally the person within an organization who is responsible for managing all building and equipment maintenance. The person can act as a “middleman” among company employees and contractors who operate within the building. This position will be found in a variety of facilities, such as office buildings, schools, hospitals, and manufacturing plants.

This person will generally work in an indoor environment. However, some physical labor can be required. While this position often keeps weekday, daytime hours, it is important to note that they may be required to be available during emergency, on-call situations within the organization.
