Business development officers are accountable to work towards increasing revenues and profits relating to the products and services offered by their company. Business development officers is also accountable to build stronger relationships with shareholders and members of their organization. Other responsibilities required of a business development officer on a daily basis are analyzing portfolios to identify new opportunities, establishing new business strategies, and keeping up-to-date with the institution's policies, programs, offerings and pricing.
